What areas does Divine Agape serve?

We serve all of Ventura County: Oxnard, Ventura, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Moorpark, and Santa Paula. We also go to nearby towns like Westlake Village and Calabasas.

Does Medi-Cal pay for home care?

It often does. A Medi-Cal program called CalAIM can pay for home care and breaks for family caregivers. You pay $0. We do the paperwork with your health plan. See if you qualify →

How much does home care cost?

With Medi-Cal and CalAIM, you pay $0. Without it, care starts at $45 an hour. The first home visit is always free. See prices and billing.

How fast can care start?

It depends. Private-pay care can often start in 2 to 5 business days. Medi-Cal care starts after your health plan reviews the referral and says yes. Urgent referrals, like leaving the hospital, are reviewed faster.

Are your caregivers background-checked?

Yes. Every caregiver passes an FBI fingerprint check and a TB test. Each one is listed on the state caregiver registry and has a supervisor.

Is there a minimum number of hours?

Yes. Each visit is at least 4 hours. From there, you choose the schedule, up to 24/7 care.

What if the caregiver isn't a good fit?

Just tell us. We will send someone new at no cost. A supervisor also checks in with you often.

Is Divine Agape licensed?

Yes. The State of California licenses us as a Home Care Organization, license HCO #564700090. Our caregivers are registered, checked, and trained.
