Personal Care & Homemaker Services (PCHS)
PCHSPCHS is short for Personal Care and Homemaker Services. It means help with bathing, dressing, meals, and cleaning. Medi-Cal pays for it. covers hands-on help with bathing, dressing, and moving safely, plus chores like meals, cleaning, laundry, and groceries. You pay $0 if your plan says yes.

IHSS
IHSSIHSS is short for In-Home Supportive Services. It is a county program that pays someone, often a family member, to help you at home. pays a helper you hire yourself, often a family member. It does not pay agencies like us. But if your IHSS hours are not enough, CalAIM can pay for our care on top, at $0 for eligible members.
