No surprises. There are 3 ways to pay for care. We confirm your cost in writing before care begins.
3 ways to pay

1. Medi-Cal: you pay $0
Have Medi-Cal? CalAIMCalAIM is a Medi-Cal program. It can pay for extra help at home, so you pay nothing. can cover PCHSPCHS is short for Personal Care and Homemaker Services. It means help with bathing, dressing, meals, and cleaning. Medi-Cal pays for it. and Caregiver Respite at $0 out of pocket for eligible members. We bill your health plan. The plan says yes before care starts. In urgent cases, care can begin while the approval finishes, and the plan can approve it back to the start date. Either way, you never get a bill for covered care. If care might go over your approved hours, we call you first.

2. IHSS
IHSSIHSS is short for In-Home Supportive Services. It is a county program that pays someone, often a family member, to help you at home. stays your main program. County approval usually takes 30 to 45 days. Waiting for IHSS, or need more hours than IHSS gives? CalAIM can pay for our care in the meantime, at $0 for eligible members.
3. Private pay
From $45 an hour. Each visit is at least 4 hours. We email your invoice every week or every 2 weeks through Stripe. Every invoice lists the hours. Payment is due within 7 days. No long-term contract.
Your exact rate depends on the care level and schedule. We confirm it in writing at your free home visit, before care begins.
